Designed specifically for young stock riders and competitive youth, the Syd Hill Wallaby Youth Fender Saddle combines adult grade durability and security with an ergonomic design scaled for junior riders and small adults. Built to handle daily station work, and arena competition, this saddle provides a secure, balanced seat that fosters proper riding position and confidence in the saddle.
Crafted from premium European roughout leather across the seat, upper skirt, and fenders, the Wallaby delivers exceptional high traction grip to keep young riders locked in during sudden turns or quick movements. The lower skirt is finished in smooth leather with elegant beige contrast stitching for a refined, classic look. Underneath, soft wool felt panels offer natural shock absorption, breathability, and gentle pressure distribution across the pony or horse's back.
At the heart of the Wallaby is the versatile SHX adjustable tree, allowing the gullet to be adjusted as your young rider moves between different horses or as young horses fill out. For enhanced rider safety and mobility, the pre twisted fenders hang directly from stirrup bars, offering freer leg movement while ensuring quick release in the event of a fall. The saddle is finished with lightweight 4.5" aluminum oxbow stirrups and a heavy duty C-rigging cinch system to keep the saddle firmly anchored.

The saddle must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received. You’ll need to complete the online return form before sending it back. Return shipping is your responsibility, and if your order had free shipping, the original freight cost will be deducted from your refund. Refunds or exchanges are processed within 3 business days of receiving the saddle.
Our saddles come with a 5-year warranty on the tree and a 1-year warranty on materials and workmanship, starting from the date of purchase. The warranty covers faults under normal use.
